The main characters of these three books have a problematic relationship with the society in which they live. That makes them so much alienated that they lose their personalities and identities.

The illustrations before every starting of chapters are inspired by Matisse's cut-outs technique:

Colored papers were cut and mixed with magazine pictures to compose irregular geometric shapes, then scanned and digitally refined.
